* This week to do

- shot 4 hair keying / roto revise

- shot 4 rough composite with UE5 frost plant asset

- shot 5 roto model

- shot 1 roto paint

- shot 2 rough composite with shot 1 roto painted clean plate

- rough color correction



Shot 4 roto problem -> hair

-> other group's work gave strong idea, to key the hair.

but... because of the reflection on the lake, color value difference, and light balance,

couldn't get good hair detail.


-> could reach the good point of keying with keyer ' luminance'.

Based on the roto I already made before, added keying rotos on it.

It was very hard... but I am proud of the result I got.

Test 1

1. color space is wrong, Davinci is not letting me upload image sequence.. figuring out. So this test 1 is encoded with Media encoder.


* How it looks like in Nuke

color corrected, lens distortion...




2. Ground is slipping, wonder if its camera tracking problem or its problem of how it rendered. We will try to render it again from UE5 and see if it is solving.


Shot 5 roto model

- We are rotoing model from footage because we want to put her on freezing ground.

We planned to do NUKE -UE5 plug in, but thinking to use card.

- Did match move tracker, since its drone footage it was not really stable to roto.



- Always... roto takes more time then expected... ( happy with the strings)

*Concernes... when I do clean up with 3D camera tracker, it seems not working properly.
